Counselling sessions are charged at £45 an hour
Couples counselling costs £60 an hour
Supervision is £45 per hour or £65 for 1.5 hours
Some concessions may be available for those on a low wage or for counselling students.

This is a hard question to answer because everybody is different but generally the longer the issue has been a problem and the longer you may need to sort through things. If a problem is recent and you have got good coping strategies and resources it may be only a few sessions will be sufficient but if the problem started in childhood it may take longer to work through. I offer open-ended counselling but am also happy to be more solution-focused for more immediate concerns.
What happens in a first session?
This will be a combination of talking through what has brought you to counselling, along with asking a few questions about your background history and present life in order that you can get a flavour of what working together will be like and for us both to assess if this seems like it will be helpful for you.
When do you have sessions available?
Sessions may be available on weekdays or on certain evenings. I do not work at weekends. Please contact me for current availability
Will counselling help?
Counselling is not helpful for everybody but research shows that about 80% of people find it beneficial.
What happens if I need to cancel a session?
48 hours notice is required for cancellations otherwise the session will be charged for. If I need to cancel a session for any reason I will give you as much notice as possible.
How do I book an initial session?
Please email, text or phone me. I may not be able to answer immediately but will get back to you within 24 hours and endeavour to arrange an appointment within a week depending on availability.
