About Me
I have been working with clients since 2012 in a variety of settings including a College, Community Counselling Centre and in Private practice. I have experience working with young people and adults, covering a wide range of issues.
My psychotherapeutic training has been 'Integrative' which means I blend different approaches and consider different perspectives on the issues and clients I work with. This has been enhanced through my training at different Colleges and Universities and attending regular CPD events.
Prior to becoming a counsellor, my previous roles have included; College lecturing, careers advice, youth work and garden design.
My private practice is based in my home in Coulsdon, close to Purley, Caterham, Banstead and Croydon, situated only 7 minutes walk from Coulsdon town centre with bus and train connections. On-street parking is available.
I also hold a Diploma in Supervision and am currently completing a post-qualification Masters in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also a member of the Association of Christian Counsellors.
